The Gano Forum at a meeting yesterday called for giving top priority to the task of recovering illegal arms and arresting all miscreants and terrorists, reports BSS.

If also urged all political parties to rise above their petty political interests and extend their full support to piake the arms recovery drive a success.

The meeting was held at the party office with its president Dr. Kamal Hossain in the chair. Earlier, the party leaders congratulated Cnief Adviser Muhammad Habibur Rahman and members of his advisory council.

in a resolution, the Gono Forum proposed for a consensus of all political parties on a single'code of conduct" in the greater interest of holding a free and fair election free from the influence of black money and illegal arms.

The meeting also proposed to make a provision in the code of conduct for banning the propagation of communal-ism in the country.
