SYLHET. Apr 3: A mugger was caught redhanded in the town today. Two others, however. managed to escape after mugging Tk two lakh.

At about noon when Shahan Rob Chowdhury, son of the owner of Pushti Foods Ltd. was going to a bank to deposit an amount ofTk. two lakh, a gang of muggers waylaid him and asked nim to hand over the money at gunpoint. They snatched the money from him and two of them managed to escape with the money but the local people caught Roashan, 20, along with a pipegun. Later they handed him over to the police after giving him a good beating.
