Apr 3: Work ers and employees of Kushtia Textile Mills brought out a procession with earthen plate in hand recently demanding payment of their wages as they are not getting their salary for several months The processionists paraded long six miles from Mills gate to Deputy Commissioner s office and demonstrated in the Coliec torate premises demanding smooth running of the Mills and payment of their outstanding salaries

The processionists held a rally there with Shamsuddin Ahmed. Convener of Trade Union Sam melon Preparatory Committee in the chair The rally was addressed among others by Wali Hossain.
