Bangladesh will receive Danish kroner 7.52 million (approximately equivalent to Taka 5.00 crore) from Denmark as grant under an agreement signed here yesterday between the two govern ments in the office of the Economic Relations Division (ERD) of the Ministry of Finance. reports BSS.

According to an ERD press release the grant will be utilised in the technical assis tance project titled 'International trading network (JTN) centre for water supply and waste management at the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) under the Ministry of Education

The main objectives of the project are to Improve human resource base for promotion and wider application of appropriate.' affordable and sustainable low-cost water supply and sanitation for low Income Koups and also to strengthen cal capacity for trading, information aisseminatlon as well as applied research and development activities of establishing- an International training network (ITN) centre at the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology
