Bangladesh Shop Owner Association (BSOA) has demanded strengthening the drive towards recovery of all 11 legal arms by the combined forces under the administration of caretaker government.

The BSOA at a meeting held In the city on Monday also urged the political leaders to refrain from delivering any firovocative speech that may nette violence, says a press release.

The BSOA also felicitated Justice Habibur Rahman on his taking over the office of the Chief Adviser of the non-party caretaker government.

Bangladesh Muslim League (Kader) yesterday called upon the caretaker government to take immediate measures to recover illegal arms to ensure the fairness in the forthcoming general election, reports BSS

Meanwhile National Fede ration of Teachers Association ■(NFTA) yesterday demanded recovery of illegal arms to ensure holding of free and fair Jatiya Sangsad polls.

Besides, the academic activities of the educational Institutions were seriously disrupted due to use of arms on the campus. It said.

While felicitating Justice Hablbur Rahman on his assumption of the office of the Chief Advisor of the caretaker government, the NFTA opined that, unless it was assured that explosion of bombs and firing of bullets by the ruffians were stopped and sense of security restored in the minds of the voters, all the efforts made in this direcUon would be a futile exercise only.
