PHILADELPHIA. Pennsylvania. Dec 11: Don King, who was chased from New Jersey because he faces charges of tax fraud seeks a tax break from this city where Mike Tyson and Buster Mathis Jr will fight on Saturday, reports AFP.

King wants city and state officials to reduce taxes on the five million dollar purse arid the five million dollars being paid for television ' rights by the Ruppert Murdoch owned Fox network.

"The tax is the tax it's part of the law. It's not going to change." said Greg Sirb executive director of the Pennsylvania Athletic Commission.

King would have to pay the city 216,000 dollars if Tyson wins under tight tax rules passed here a decade ago charging all athletes who play here for portions of their salary earned in the city.

King has also struck deals for more than 1.000 hotel room night throughout the city at no charge. Two hotels made deals in exchange for having King stay there during the week.

While a common practice in casino towns like Atlantic City and Las Vegas, there were many rejections and complaints before King found the rooms at no change.
