Talks on to free Lankan ferry crew

COLOMBO Sept 8: Negotiations continued today for the release of a ferry crew seized by Tamil guerillas, but 121 others supposedly freed earlier still remained In rebel territory, official sources said. The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) continued to negotiate with the rebel Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) to free the eight crewmen of the government-chartered Iris Moana, but details were not available, the sources said, reports AFP
