The Left Democratic Front (LDF) yesterday demanded Immediate dissolution of unrepresentative' Parliament and general elections under a caretaker government to rid the nation of the grave' political crisis, reports UNB.

At this stage, the nation would not accept any elections other than general vote, leaders of the combine said at a press conference, rejecting the reported government move towards byelections In the opposition-vacated seats.

"It will be a great blunder for the government to go ahead with byelections in stead of finding a reasonable solution to the current political crisis,” said the LDF statement at the news conference.
