BOMBAY. Aug 7: The Cricket club of India (CCI) has not given any firm commitment to host the sixth and final one-day International between India and New Zealand which has been earmarked as a benefit for former Test wicket-keeper Syed Kirmanl. at the Brabourne Stadium here on November 29. reports PTI.

Speaking to PTI here yesterday CCI president Raj Singh Dungarpur denied press reports that the club had committed itself to host the tie and give away a purse of 25 lakhs rupees from the proceeds of the match to the former Test stumper, but confirmed Kirmanl. who had represented Karnataka in Ranji Trophy, had approached the CCI in this regard.

The CCI. an affiliate of the BCCI. would take a final decision In a few days’ time, Dungarpur added.
