Workers Party general secretary Rashed Khan Menon. MP. has expressed his dlsap pointment over Indian Prime Minister Naraslmha Rao's vague assurances regarding a solution of the Farakka problem and said the whole nation should be united on this issue of life and death.

Menon was addressing a public rally at Ranishonkoil after leading the first leg of his party's foot-march programme yesterday. He led the 20-mile march from Thakurgaon to Ranlshankoll. says a party press release.
