Singapore Airlines (SIA) and Air France (AF). which began a joint freighter service between Singapore and Paris on 30th October 1994. will launch a second service tomorrow (Wednesday! says a press release.

Like the first. rho second service will be operated with an AF 8747 200 freighter, which has a net pay load of 100 tonnes.

The second service, which includes stops in Dubai and Kuala Lumpur, will depart from Paris on Wednesday at 0055 hours and arrive in Singapore at 0105 hours the following day. The return flight will leave Singapore at 0405 hours and arrive in Paris at 1400 hours the same day.

Cargo traffic between Pdris and Singapore has grown at an average rate of 17 per cent annually. from 5,100 tonnes in 1991/92 to nearly 7.000 ■ tonnes in 1993/94.
