The government made an appeal to all concerned to re-frain from activities which are unlawful and against the public order and security, a Home Ministry Press Note said in the city last night, reports BSS.

The Press Note said some political parties aird their front organisations have announced "Dhaka siege' and gherao programme on September 10. In view of the announcement, the government hoped that the political parties and the organisations will show respect to the democratic norms and system for the public interest.

The Press Note said each and every citizen has the sacred constitutional duty and responsibility to cooperate in maintaining law and order and protecting public property
