NEW DELHI. July 6: India's federal Investigating agency announced 50.000 dollar rewards today for the arrest of two key suspects in last year's Bombay serial bombings which killed more than 300 people, reports AFP.

The Central Bureau of Investlgation(CBI) said the rewards would be paid In foreign exchange for information that could lead to the arrest of the alleged masterminds of the conspirM-y. Dawood Ibrahim and Abdul Rajak Memon.

A price of 30.000 dollars has been placed on the heads of other suspects adding up to almost half-a-million dollars, a CB1 spokesman said.

Ibrahim is alleged to control a criminal empire In Bombay from a safe haven abroad. His associate Memon also has tied abroad, investigators say.’.

The CBI has started proceedings to seize Ibrahim's vast properly and many businesses in the western port city, India's financial capital.

A series of bomb blasts rocked prominent commercial lafidmarks in the city on March 12. 1993. killing 317 people and leaving about 1.000 injured.
