Forty two brunches of Bangladesh Shishu Academy have been sei up with a view to flourishing latent of the children. reports UNB

State Minister for Women and Children Affairs Begum Sarwart Rahman disclosed this while inaugurating the Mantkganj District Branch of Bangladesh Shishu Academy yesterday

Twenty two more branches of the Academy will be estab lished during the current fiscal year, the State Minister said adding that after completion of the district branches the children of all areas of the country will get equal opportunity to participate in the national competitions

She said that Women Affairs Department had been imple meriting 1.3 uplift programmes to involve the country's women community in the national de velopment process

The function was addressed. among others, by Niza inuddIn Khan MP. Director of Shishu Academy Golam Kibrla and Its governing board member Sirajul Islam Selim

Later, the State Minister visited the ManikganJ district unit of Jatiya Mohila Sangstha and distributed saplings among the poor women.
