The US Embassy announced yesterday that there has been no change hi the rules for applying for an immigrant visa under the US DV-1 programme.

A USIS special release said despite Inaccurate press reports about changes, the guidelines previously issued by the US Embassy in Dhaka remain valid. As specified in those directions, the applicants native country, name, and address should be written in the upper left hand corner of the envelope.
