CINCINNATI, Ohio. Apr 2: President Clinton was sent a threat by electronic mail, the second such incident reported this year, the US secret service said Friday, reports Reuter.

"We investigate all of these threats. Number one its against the law. and number two we want to make sure there's no danger to the president.'' agent Dick Rathmell of the agency's Cincinnati office said.

The Cincinnati enquirer, which disclosed the incident tn Friday's editions, said the contents of the February 21 threat was not known.

Earlier this year a university of Illinois student was charged with threatening the life of the president after he allegedly sent a note to Clinton's E-mail address at the White House saying he was going to be killed
