President Abdur Rahman Biswas yesterday stressed the need for modernisation of land survey system to ensure benefit for all. reports UNB.

It’s necessary to survey the ands with skilled manpower and provide training facilities to the staff to build an efficient survey mechanism. the President said while talking to a 10-member delegation of Bangladesh Land Reform. Survey and Settlement Employees Federation which called on him at Bangabhaban.

The delegation discussed with the President different issues. including introduction of an accountable survey system, land survey in Barisal. Khulna. Jessore. Noakhall. Sylhet and Faridptir districts, and modernisation of the printing of record and maps of the land.

President Biswas gave them a patient hearing and assured to look into the matters.
