The Transport Committee of the Sixth SAF Games has submitted Us final accounts to the Finance Committee for adjustment. says a press release.

After successfully fulfilling its responsibility at half the initial estimated cost, the committee has handed back Taka 11 lakh to the Finance Committee, the press release adds.

Transport committee had to arrange a total of 225 vehicles for the athletes, technical delegates, officials, visiting dignitaries, journalists and other committees. Out of these the committee got 50 buses and 50 cars free of charges from the Bangladesh Bus-Track Owners Association and Dhaka Road Transport Association and different government and private organisations.

Meanwhile, the Marketing Promotion Committee formed a few days before the Games to bridge the deficit in finance, collected about Tk 18.50 lakh from different commercial and multinational concerns.
