Michael Drury head of dele gallon and Ambassador of the European Union (EU) to Bangladesh presented his letter of introduction to President Abdur Rahman' Biswas at Bangabhaban yesterday, reports UNB.

Exchanging views with the Ambassador President Biswas appreciated the European Union for its help and support to the development efforts of Bangladesh.

He said new areas of cooperation, trade and joint investment can be explored for mutual benefits of Bangladesh and the members of the European Union.

The trtdustrtal laws in the country have been liberalised to encourage private and foreign investments, tlie President said and hoped that the EU investors would help the industrialisation by Investing in the country.
