The central executive committee of the Thana Health and Family Planning Officers' Association at a< meeting Tuesday demanded withdrawal of the decision of transferring 147 officials from their present working places.

The meeting presided over by association's president Dr Md Siddiqur Rahman observed that such massive transfer at this time would left negative impact on the implementation of the Expanded Programme of Immunisation (EPI).

The meeting, held at the NIPSOM auditorium, said the dry season is the most convenient time for Implementing the EPI programme, which may be affected by the sudden massive transfer of the health officials.
