He said the hartal was called only to create confusion, chaos and violence for disrupting public life and development process initiated by an elected govern I ment.

Mirza Abbas called upon the leaders and workers of BNP and Its front organisations to foil all • onsptracles against the government with the cooperation of the people, who had voted BNP to power thrice
