Minister for Communications Col (Retd) Oli Ahmed yesterday urged the BCS officials to utilise their visions and Imaginations for the optimum use of the country's resources to accelerate the pace of national development. reports BSS.

He made this call while addressing a ceremony arranged on the occasion of. distribution of driving licences and certificates among the BCS officials at BRTC training centre at Gazlpur.

Motor driving training was a part of the 11 th BPATC foundation course for the BCS officials which was arranged in collaboration with BRTC and BRTA.

The Minister said the BCS officials are the key instruments । for the development programmes and their hard work and honesty can only ensure the desired development. He also urged the officials to generate a sense of common ownership

regarding the public property among themselves to avoid their damages or wastage.

Oli hoped that with the driving training the young officials would be more sclf-confl dent in facing the problems In their services as well as tn personal lives.

Chairman of BRTA AHMB Zaman presided over the function while, it was addressed, among others, by Rector of BPATC Manzure Maula. Secretary of Communications Syed Rezaul Hayat and Chairman of BRTC Khan.

Speaking on the occasion Manzure Maula said this is the first time when PATC has Intro duced driving training to the BCS trainees in addition of other bask- courses. PATC has also planned to Introduce some other courses including swimming and cooking for the officials to make them fit for all situations, he said.
