KUSHT1A. July 6: Teachers of the Islamic University today began an indefinite work stoppage to protest the alleged manhandling of some of their colleagues by activists of the Islam! Chhatra Shibir on the campus yesterday, reports UNB.

The Islamic University Teachers Association (1UTA), in an emergency meeting on Monday, decided on the work stoppage from today, demanding punishment for those responsible for the incident and a violence-free campus.

They said that the strike would continue till their demands were met.
