NEW DELHI, July 6: Indian Commerce Minister Pranab Mukherjee will have to resign, at hast temporarily, because he cannot be elected to Parliament within the required time, the Press Trust of India (PTI) reported on Tuesday, says Reuter.

Mukherjee was inducted into the cabinet on January 17 and under Indian law had six months to enter Parliament AH government ministers have to be members of one of the Houses of Parliament.
