LONDON. June 5: Cuba declared "force majeure" on all of its raw sugar export contracts for the 1992-93 season on Friday, the Cuban national

Cuba was forced to halt exports indefinitely because of a Cr domestic sugar crop and ause of problems over transport and production. Cubazucar spokesman William Parra said.

The decision meant that clients would have to wait longer for delivery of Cuban sugar and at least until the of ficlal figures for the Cuban crop and potential exports were known, he said.

The company had warned all customers by telex early on Friday that because of external factors beyond Its control Cuba was obliged to declare "force majeure" and to reduce substantially Its export commitments.

The measure applied to all sugar contracts. Including those with Russia and China.
