Bangladesh Private Medical Practitioners Association (BPMPA) called for an increase in budget allocation in the health sector.

In a statement yesterday the Association President Dr Mirza A Sobhan, Secretary General Dr CM Dilwar Rana and Treasurer Dr Md Munlruzzaman Bhuiyan said, at least 20 per cent of the total budget should be allocated (or health sector to make they programme Health for all by 2,000' a success.

BCS General Education Assoc

A five-member delegation of BCS General Education Association led by its Secretary General Abu Yusuf called on Professor SMA Fayez, Chairman of Public Service Commission, at his office yesterday.

Leaders of the association urged the Chairman to take stepfs by June 30 to fill up 20 per cent reserved posts of Assistant Professors. Associate Professors and Professors which have been lying vacant for a long time.
