The Bangladesh Cricket Control Board (BCCB) has decided to exonerate Zahirul Islam Ripon, who was banned for three years for illegally participating in the eleventh NIrman schools cricket tournament for Morning Sun School, following his mercy petition.

Abdul Aziz and Giasuddin Ahmed Jewel, banned for five years for similar reasons, were also let off the hook.
