The concluding session of the course was presided over by A H M Nurul Islam Choudhurt, Director General, BIBM. Choudhurt also distributed certificates among the participants. Speaking on the occasion Ihc DG urged the par tie-tpants to utilise their newly acquired knowledge and expertise In thetr respective institutions. He also under scored the importance of proper accounting tn banka for ensuring better performance.

The course was designed to familiarise the participants with various concepts, conven tions, techniques and ap proaches to accounting tn banks and financial institutions. BIBM faculty members Sycdur Rahman and Attar Rahman Mollah served as co ord Ina tors of the course.
