NATAB

The National Anti-Tuberculosis Association of Bangladesh (NATAB) yesterday held a ml lad mahfil seeking blessing of the Almighty Allah for the early recovery of Deputy Leader in parliament Professor Badruddoza Chow-dhuty.

Professor Chowdhury, who Is also the President of the NATAB, is now undergoing treatment at a hospital In Singapore.

The central leaders of NATAB attended the mllad.

A reception was held In celebration of the 18th founding anniversary of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) here yesterday.

The reception, hosted by the Commissioner of DMP at the lawn of Its park avenue headquarters, was attended by Home Minister Abdul Matin Chowdhury, Chief Election Commissioner Justice Muhammad Abdur Rouf, Home Secretary ManJur-ul-Karlm, Inspector-General of Police ASM Shahjahan, former IGPs, high police officials and distinguished guests.

Export Development Project

The eighth training course on Export Credit Guarantee Scheme concluded Sunday at the Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management (B1BM) in Mirpur. The course was sponsored by USAID, World Bank, and Government of Bangladesh, and organised by the Export Development Project/USAID In collaboration with the Export Credit Guarantee Department (ECGD) of Sadharan Bima Corporation.

A total of 37 bankers, exporters, chamber representatives, officials of trade associations and ECGD participated in the training course.
