She said that the country had been flooded with enor mods incidents of injustice and exploitation. Authoritarianism at almost every aspect had gripped the people of the country, she added.

Sufia Kamal was inaugurating as chief guest the eighth conference of Bangladesh Mahila Parishad Dhaka City unit yesterday morning at the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh ((IEB). Dr Anisuzzaman attended the function as the special guest.

Focusing on the works of Begum Rokeya. Sufia Kamal said that the womenfolk would have to come forward for protecting the rights of themselves as well as the humanity upholding the ideal of the great lady.
