The All-Party Communal Harmony Committee will organise a procession In the city today (Friday) in a move to restore communal harmony disturbed due to demolition of Babri Mosque in India.

The procession Is scheduled to start from the Bangabandhu Avenue at 4 pm which would parade major streets of the city, a committee press release said.

The committee also urged to form its wings upto the union level and to hold rallies and processions on January 3. 1993. The committee would hold a rally at the Bangabandhu Avenue on that day, the press release said.

The new programmes were chalked out at a meeting of the committee at Awaml League Central Office which was attended by Abdus Samad Azad. Abdul Mannan, Mohiuddln Ahmed, Sajeda Chowdhury, Zillur Rahman. Amir Hossain Amu, Abdur Razzak, Tofael Ahmed, Mohammad Selim, Nurul Islam Nahid, Khalequ-zzaman Bhuiyan, Bimal Biswas, Alhaj Abdus Samad, Mohammad Afzal, Moinuddin Khan Badal and K M Jahangir.

Meanwhile, the Five-Party Alliance has postponed its programme of Demand Day today (Friday) in view of the communal harmony procession
