Secretary general of the central executive committee of Youth Council Abdul Malek Ratan in a statement Friday urged the government to ije-storc the now defunct upazlla system.

He said that according to the verdict of the Supreme Court, the government can nullify upazlla system. But repeal of the upazlla system is contrary to the democratic attitude even if It is legal, he said.
