New security for Euro Cup

BUDAPEST. Dec 11: Hungarian police backed by dogs and water cannon will be out in force on Thursday during Red Star Belgrade's European Cup tie in Budapest reports Reuter

Police spokesman Andrasne Babos said 10.000 Yugoslav fans were expected tn Budapest for the champions' semifinal round tie at the Hoved Stadium against Anderlecht of Belgium.

The match is being played in nearby Hungary rather than Serbia because of the war In Yugoslavia.

Babos said 1.000 Belgians were expected and rival fans would be segregated, several hundred police some on horseback will control all road and rail approaches to the ground.

Italian clubs vie for Thomas
