PABNA Dec II: All major political parties, including BNP. Awami League. Jatiya Party and Jamaat-e-lsiaml Wednesday agreed on a 12 point code of conduct to erad icate violence from the district. reports UNB

The agreement of the district units was announced at a Joint press conference at the focal Bar Library auditorium tn the afternoon.

According to the code of conduct, all the parties agreed that they would refrain from Involving themselves In violence. making any defamatory comments against leaders of rival parties and filing false They have also agreed to expel from their respective parties any member proved guilty of terrorism.

Any conflict between the parties would be resolved on bilateral basis through discussion. the leaders said adding that their student fronts would also abide by the code of conduct.
