The Five-party Alliance Sunday called for a Joint declaration by all political parties to uproot vtolence and terrorism.

A declaration of the alliance read out at a public meeting held at the tero point urged political parties to expel ter rorists and not to shelter them to curb violence and terrorism.

Noor Hossain and other martyrs dreamt of a democratic and prosperous Bangladesh. The autocratic regime was ousted, but the Joint Declaration of the then three main stream political alliances was not implemented fully, the declaration said. Workers demands were still unfulfilled and black laws were in effect, it said and vowed to continue movement to realise those. The alliance would hold rallies and processions from November 12 to 25 to press for fulfillment of SKOP demands and revocation of all black laws, the declaration said.

The ruling party has failed to fulfil its commitment to end corruption and undertake programmes for peoples welfare, ft alleged. "Rather ft has rehabilitated the accomplices of Ershad and is harbouring corruption", it said.

Central leaders of Five-party Alliance, Rashed Khan Menon. Khalequzzaman Bhuyan, AFM Mahbubul Haque, Haider Akbar Rono, Nirmal Sen and Abdullah Sarkar were present at the meeting which was followed by a procession.
