KATHMANDU, Oct 9: A high-level Nepalese water resources delegation has returned here after "very satisfactory" talks with Indian Power Ministry officials in New ' Delhi, an official source said

Tuesday, reports AFP.

The five-member delegation, led by a newly-appointed Secretary for Water Resources Gauri Nath Rimal, had been invited lo New Delhi by Indian power Secretary S Rajgopal for talks on a wide range of waler resource projects, the source said.

No announcement of the visit was made either before or after it look place, apparently to avoid the criticism from the opposition Nepal Communist Party which has warned the government not to enter Into negotiations or agreements on water-related Issues that run counter to Nepal's national interest.
