Relief Ministry has so far sanctioned relief materials and cash money worth Tk 65 crore for the flood affected people of the country, a PID source said Wednesday, reports UNO.

Besides. Relief and Rehabilitation Directorate has also allocated huge quantity of relief gopds and garments worth about Tk 12 crore for the flood victims.

Relief materials sanctioned by the Rebel Ministry Include 25.433 metric tons of rice worth Tk 25.44 crore as gralu ituous relief, 41,163 metric tons of wheat worth Tk 28.88 crore for test relief. 3.708 metric tons of wheal worth Tk 2.60 crore as gratultuous relief, 7,500 metric tons of wheal valued Tk 5.27 crore for 2 lakh 41,000 cards under Vulnerable Group Development (VCD) programme, 730 bundles of Cl sheet worth Tk 18.25 lakh 7,100 Uns of bis ! ?uft worth Tk 14.20 lakh and | 1 1.475 pieces of lungees worth Tk 6 lakh as gratuitous relief.

The Relief Ministry also sanctioned Tk 1.22 crore as gratuitous relief. Tk 1.64 crore as house building grant. Tk 12.35 lakh as transportation cost and Tk 25.000 as conUn-gency expenditure.
