RANGPUR, Sept 8: State Minister for Social Welfare and Women's Affairs Tariqul Islam Friday said that welfare oriented programmes were being chalked out one after another by the BNP government with the support and love of the people, reports BSS.

He was addressing three separate public meetings at Jaipurhat and Badaragonj and Mlrzapur under Mithapukur' upazila In the district.

BNP government believes that all programmes taken up for people's welfare must achieve success by overcoming

ail obstacles of evil forces, he added.

People are now politically conscious. Therefore, no political party will be able to take over state power by giving wrong and false statements, he said.

He urged the party workers to assist rural voters so that they could exercise their franchise property in favour of their unbiased will.

Among others, the meeting was addressed by Begum Shahlda Barker MP, BNP leader Advocate Rana Sarker and Mr Nurul Huda.
