SIRAJDIKHAN (Munshiga-nj), Sept 8: State Minister for Youth and Sports Sadek Hossain Khoka today called upon the youth community to participate in the development activities for accelerating the country's social and economic progress, reports BSS.

He was speaking at the installation ceremony of the newly elected office bearers of the Executive Council of Sekh-amagar Union Club.

Terming the youth as the most promising driving force, he said ft was not possible to achieve the country's overall development without thetr tn-

volvement tn various development activities. He said the present democratic government had been making all-out efforts to fulfil the hopes and aspirations of the people. With this end in view the government had given top priority to poverty alleviation and generation of employment for the unemployed in Its development programmes, he added

Sadek Hossain Khoka pointed out that the present government believed In the politics of production. He, therefore, called upon all to strengthen the hands of the government in the national interest.
