Awami League chief and Leader of the Opposition Sheikh Hasina Sunday expressed her deep shock and sorrow at the demise of former Principal Secretary Ruhul Quddus. reports BSS.

Paying rich tributes to the deceased. Sheikh Hasina said, despite being a member of the then Pakistan Civil Service Ruhul Quddus was always sympathetic to the cause of the people of the then East Pakistan. Quddus always favoured the movement of the East Pakistanis for establishing their rights, she added.
