Money rates in the call money market during the week ended 7.8.1991 ranged from 10.25 per cent to 12.00 per cent. During the same week Interest rates offered by the bank on Certificate of Deposits varied from 9 00 per cent to 14.00 per cent. The bank rate, however, remained unchanged at 9.75 per cenl.
