SIRAJGANJ, July 6: Sahajadpur Government High School has been declared closed for indefinite period on Friday last following a clash between two groups of students which left at 4east 10 pupils injured, police said, reports UNB.

The clash began when a group of students protested re-appointment of Iman All as the headmaster of the school. Assistant Judge issued an order on July 3 in favour of Iman All to join the school again as headmaster, who was earlier dismissed by UNO on charges of corruption.

The Assistant Judge issued the order following a case lodged by Iman Alt.

Another student group, favouring the appointment of Assistant Headmaster Osman Gani as headmaster by UNO, got involved in. clash with the group supporting Iman Ali who went to join the school the same day, school sources said.

Seriously injured Masud and Ranju were rushed to the upazila health complex.

The group who opposed Iman All's re-appointment also raqsacked the office of the Assistant Judge, police added.

A headmistress of a high school in Kamarkhanda upazila of the district was man handled by students and teachers Monday.

Witnesses said Firoza Khatun of Jamtal Dhopakandi High School was attacked by a group of students and teachers when she entered the school premises with a notice of permanent injunction against the Managing Committee of the school.

The incident was a sequel to the longstanding demand of the students for removal of the said headmistress. She was admitted to Kamarkhanda health centre,
