MALE, July 5: The sevennation south Asian grouping Thursday announced in this Indian Ocean atoll nation that their next heads of state summit will be held in November in the Sri Lankan Capital Colombo, reports AFP.

Maldives Foreign Minister Fathullah Jameel told reporters here at the end of a ministerial meeting that the sixth summit of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) will be from November 7 to 9 in Sri Lanka

Jameel said the two-day ministerial meeting which closed Wednesday decided to set up two high powered technical committees to promote tourism and economic cooperation in the region, home to a fifth of the world's population.
