CHITTAGONG. July 6 Malaysian High Commissioner in Bangladesh Miss Tunku Nazlhaha Muhammad Rus today handed over Malaysian relief materials and medicines worth US Dollars 363,121 to Bangladesh, reports BSS.

The relief materials and medicines Trave been donated by Malaysian government for the cyclone and tidal surge affected people of Bangladesh.

Chittagong City Mayor Mir Muhammad Nasir Uddin received the relief goods from Malaysian High Commissioner at a simple ceremony held on board the Malaysian Ship Sri Inderl Sakti. High government officials including Divisional Commissioner Omar Faruk. Deputy Commissioner A R Khan were present on the oc casion.

Receiving the Malaysian gifts Mayor Mir Nasir Uddin expressed gratitude to Malaysian'government and the people for their benevolent gesture towards the cyclone and tidal affected people.

The relief goods included 25m tons of rice. 50m tons of wheat flour, 10m tons of edible oil. 10m tons of milk powder. 5m tons of biscuits, 12,000 pieces of lungis and huge quantities of medicines.
