A grocer was stabbed to death by a local 'Mastan' for refusing to sell good's on credit at Rayar Bazar on Wednesday evening.

A mastan came to Khaleq's shop and asked for a packet of cigarette at around 5.30 pm. When Khaleq refused to sell on credit, the mastan went away threatening of dire consequences. One hour later, he came back and stabbed Khaleq (25) on the chest. He died on the spot.

His body was taken to DMCH for post mortem. When contacted. Mohammadpur police could not say anything.
