A fresher's reception to the student of Chemical Engineering Department. Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) was held at the seminar room of Civil Engineering Faculty of the university on Wednesday. f

Organised by the Chemical Engineering Department the reception was attended by Md. Nuruzzaman. Chairman. Food and Sugar Industry Corporation as the chief guest and Dr. Ikhtiar Omar. Head of the Department of Chemical Engineering as special guest.

Dr. Sabdar All. Chairman. Chemical Engineering Association presided over the reception meeting while Dr. Iqbal Mahmood. Dr. Nuruddin and Dr. AKM Qadar spoke on the occasion among others.

Addressing the meeting Dr. Iqbal Mahmood called upon the student community to devote themselves to their studies.

The function was attended by a good number of teachers and students.
