Traders said buying was kept subdued on Thursday by a report from the I nternatlonaJ Energy Agency which said the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) supplied 22.6 million barrels of crude tn April, about 300.000 barrels above the ceding agreed by the cartel tn March.

"OPEC's producing 300.000 more than they should be and that Is tn the bock of peoples minds." said Tom Bentz, an analyst wtth United Energy In New York.

Brent crude oil futures for June were two cents lower on London's international petroleum exchange at 19.55 dollars a barrel by 1715 GMT.
