Anti smoking organisation Adhunlk Saturday demanded adoption of an anti-smoking law tn parliament. enhancing taxes on tobacco by 400 per cent and banning tobacco advertisement in the media, reports UNB

Prof Islam called upon all to donate the money spent for smoking in aid of the cyclone victims.

Prof Islam suggested several control measures over tobacco advertisement for drastically reducing the rate of smoking among the teenagers

Narrating activities of Adhunlk. he said it has attained substantial success. It plans to start a massive national campaign on May 31. the International Non-Srnoking Day.
