National Mourning Day was observed Saturday throughout the country in memory of the victims of cyclone.

National flags flew half-mast atop public and private buildings. Special prayers were of- . fered for the salvation of the departed souls of the cyclone victims. Radio and television put up special programmes. Recitation from the holy Quran, Hamd and Naat featured the mourning day programme.
