The Acting President Friday promulgated an ordinance entitled The Newspaper Employees (Condition of Services) (Amendment). 1091. by amending the Newspaper Employees (Condition of Services) Act 1974.' an official handout said Saturday, reports BSS.

Under the ordinance, the words 'three months' would replace the words "one month* in sub-section (I) of section II of the 1974 Act. the handout added.

The Newspaper Services Condition Act. 1974 under Section I I had clear provision that the Government Is bound to announce the award within 30 days from the dale of submission of Wage Board decision.
